I've (theos0o) also added an option for LED/BLN notifications. Actually in Skype settings there's an option for "Pulse light notifications", but it didn't work on my Galaxy S with BLN, so I added my code for people that can't get it working too.
Maybe in a future build I can add an option so you can choose LED color.

In order to get portrait+landscape in video-calls you MUST check "Force enable video-calling" and "Force openGL" toggles.

If you need to rotate your camera image, when you're in a video call, press your phone's options button and then "Rotate camera" as many times as you need.
I can't do anything better than this (like a persistent setting) right now.
